Spring has Sprung... Well Maybe Not

Harvey is soaking up the spring sunshine and thinking life as a pig isn't so bad after all. He always has hay on his back. His bed is like a big pack-rat nest.

The next day it snowed... Ole ground hog had it right this year. It has been a very cold spring. We were one degree away from setting a cold record today.

I sheared the goats last Saturday and they are freezing. I hate to let them go too long because they are an itchy mess.

Well we need the water.

You just can't rush spring in Oregon. Harvey looked so happy and then the snow. They always put out the spring flowers in the stores way too early, you buy and then they either rot or just sit there in the cold ground. Good for the nurseries I suppose - double purchase.
