The Quarry

The Hunter

The Successful Happy Hunter

The youngest gets ideas in his head and he won't let them go. One of his buddies wanted frog's legs so frog's legs he got. He decided that he needed a bow fishing reel setup on his bow. This gave Dad something to apply his creative engineering brain to and presto he has a fishing setup on his bow.

We went on our second annual spring vermin hunt. We spent a day and a half shooting ground squirrels around wheat fields and a half day after the frogs that eat the fish eggs in the pond.

As you can see it is a beautiful place. We really enjoy the remoteness and the beauty. It is hard to come back to suburbia. DMP

Love the pictures. Clayton is so much like you growing up. You have great kids, each with their own strengths.

Ha! That is a cool set up. I'm going to show it to Holden. We went and looked at bows the other day
